Learning to Stay Safe – Ekatva Public School, Kanchikacherla, successfully conducted a Fire Safety Drill to create awareness among students about emergency preparedness and safe evacuation practices. The local fire department team visited the school and educated students on the causes of fire accidents, safety precautions at home and school, and the importance of staying calm during emergencies. They also explained how to identify fire hazards and the correct way to report and respond to fire incidents. Students were given a live demonstration on how different fire extinguishing methods work and how to safeguard themselves in case of a fire. They observed the safe handling of a gas cylinder, fire control techniques, and basic rescue procedures. This hands-on drill empowered students with practical knowledge and boosted their confidence to act responsibly and safely during unexpected situations. The session was highly informative and helped reinforce the importance of fire safety in everyday life.

Mr. Parvatam, who currently serves as Deputy Manager (Pharma), is also an active youth mentor, club leader, and award-winning trainer. He shared practical strategies for self-discipline, goal clarity, and smart planning that students can apply in their daily routines. The session was highly engaging and inspiring, encouraging students to unlock their true potential and build confidence in working toward their dreams. With his real-life examples and interactive approach, Mr. Parvatam motivated learners to use their time effectively and stay focused on their goals. The students left the session with renewed enthusiasm, ready to take charge of their success with determination and a positive mindset.

This year’s Children’s Day at our school was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments as teachers came together to create a truly memorable celebration for the students. The highlight of the event was a special interactive program titled “Who Am I?”, where teachers presented fun clues and engaging descriptions for students to guess the characters or personalities they were portraying. The activity brought excitement to every class and created lively participation from all students. Class teachers also took a joyful moment to share light-hearted and affectionate reflections about their respective classes. Their fun anecdotes and heartfelt messages created a warm and cheerful atmosphere that made every student feel valued and appreciated. Adding more charm to the celebration, several teachers showcased their hidden talents through mimicry, character dress-ups, and creative performances. Masterchef – Interhouse Cooking Competition Our school conducted an exciting Masterchef Interhouse Competition based on the cuisines of the European continent. Students from all houses participated with great enthusiasm. Each team selected dishes from different European countries such as Italy, France, Spain and Germany. They researched about ingredients, flavours, traditions and the unique features of each cuisine. The competition also helped students develop an important life skill—cooking. Participants worked in two categories: cooking with fire and cooking without fire. Some prepared delicious pastas, soups and baked items using fire, while others made salads, sandwiches, desserts and beverages without fire. They learned about teamwork, presentation, hygiene and time management. This event not only increased their knowledge of world cuisines but also encouraged creativity, confidence and healthy eating habits. It was a fun-filled and learning-oriented experience for everyone!

Our Kindergarten students joyfully celebrated the vibrant festival of Dussehra, showcasing our rich cultural traditions and values. The highlight of the celebration was our little girls dressed as different avatars of Goddess Durga, beautifully representing the spirit of the festival. All the girls arrived in traditional attire, adding colour and charm to the occasion. They also created small Bathukammas and danced gracefully around them, celebrating togetherness and the essence of tradition. We joyfully celebrated Grandparents’ Day to honour the love and wisdom of our beloved grandparents. The event began with a heartfelt Pada Pooja, where children offered flowers to seek their blessings. Fun activities like saree folding for grandfathers and the lemon and spoon race for grandmothers brought smiles to everyone. A special memory wall at the entrance helped grandparents relive beautiful memories. Our grandmothers created colourful paper garlands to gift their loved ones, and a fun bonding task had blindfolded grandfathers, guided by their partners, pin a tail on a dog picture. The celebration ended with students presenting handmade crafts to their grandparents and a joyful happy dance, making the day truly memorable and filled with love.

The little ones looked adorable as Krishna and Gopikas, enjoyed pot-breaking, danced happily, and enacted Krishna’s childhood moments and his friendship with Sudhama.
